

Infosurv, Inc. is a market research firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1998, Infosurv, Inc. prides itself as being a recognized leader in the field of online survey research. This particular client came to PrimeVisibility with the goal of driving qualified traffic to their website in order improve the number of contact us forms and brochure request forms they received on a monthly basis.
Prime Visibility’s challenge was to improve the client’s placement in the natural search results by identifying and optimizing each page for industry-related keywords that had competitive search volume. Taking this course of action would improve the client’s natural search rankings, which would lead to improvements in traffic.
A thorough competitive analysis was completed to determine what keywords were most relevant to the client’s industry. Based on our findings, Prime Visibility re-optimized pre-existing title and meta tags, as well as copy to include these keywords. We also identified many keywords that were relevant to the client’s business but were not being optimized for by the competition. This enabled Infosurv to achieve a competitive advantage in the online survey research marketplace. By implementing these changes, we were confident that we would be able to target and capture qualified visitors looking for these industry-specific keywords.
In order to improve the amount of contact us forms and brochure request forms, Prime Visibility recommended shortening the existing contact us form to make it easier for visitors to complete. We also added a quick form to the bottom of every page for visitors interested in requesting a brochure with pricing. A CAPTCHA code was also added to each brochure request form to ensure that the client would not receive superfluous forms from robots crawling the website.

As the data above demonstrates, we saw significant improvements in website traffic, contact forms completed and brochure requests submitted over the course of the fiscal year. Prior to partnering with Prime Visibility, the client only had 6 listings in First Position. By November 2006, they had a total of 23 listings in First Position. This enhancement in visibility ultimately led to more traffic from the natural search engines. Specifically, the amount of traffic the website has generated via the natural search engines has increased tremendously. In particular, we saw a 23% increase in natural traffic from Google and a 193% increase in Yahoo! The client also began to drive international traffic to their website via the natural search engines. Specifically, searches from Google - Germany, Google – United KingFreedom, and Google – India increased by over 20% respectively. To date, this client’s visibility amongst the first 3 pages of major search engines is currently at 65%. Some of our next steps to further improve visibility, traffic and conversion numbers are to launch a full-boat Web 2.0 campaign and continue to build SEO-friendly pages for keywords related to the client’s industry.
