Situation
Limmer & Associates are attorneys and counselors at law who provide legal representation in a variety of areas including Personal Injury, Family Law, Bankruptcy Law, and Civil Litigation. Originally established in New York as a Criminal Law Practice, they grew into a full service law firm. Limmer & Associates came to Prime Visibility to increase business in the area of Criminal Law.
Challenge
Law firms pose a significant challenge with SEO, since there is great competition from many other law firms. When Limmer & Associates came to us, they had very little page rank and needed to greatly improve their rankings in the major search engines. They only wanted to optimize the main keywords for Criminal Law, but since these are very broad terms they presented some adversity to SEO. Our client also wanted to build up the content of the Criminal Law section of their website.
Strategy
In order to optimize the site for Criminal Law, Prime Visibility's strategy included adding 12 unique pages to the website that dealt with nothing but Criminal Law. The challenge to optimize the broad subject keywords was overcome by using them as subject titles for many of the written pages. Additionally, all titles, keywords and descriptions on the entire site were revised for enhanced optimization. Quality, industry-related reciprocal links were added to significantly improve the popularity in the major search engine indexing and rankings. Prime Visibility also prepared, planned and executed Pay-For-Performance (PFP) strategies including Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising programs and paid directory submissions.
Results
Limmer & Associates started with a Visibility Score of zero and also a Visibility Percentage of zero. In less than two months since implementing Prime Visibility SEO techniques, Limmer's Visibility Score jumped to 354 and the Visibility Percentage rose to 3.76. Many of the broad keywords being used, such as felony and misdemeanor are at the time of this writing ranking on page one in Yahoo. Limmer & Associates had remarkable results from the Pay Per Click (PPC) program as well. Just a month after launching this campaign, they retained a new client who had seen their PPC ad, clicked on it, and contacted Limmer & Associates as a result of that ad. We expect a persistent trend of natural rankings continually improving given the initial positive results.
