Situation
Precision Camera is the World's Largest Camera Repair Facility. Since 1948, Precision Camera has been providing quality camera repair services to a wide variety of customers ranging from national retailers to individual consumers. Their knowledgeable and experienced staff includes a greater number of qualified technicians than all other independent camera or video repair companies combined. Precision Camera wanted to rebuild their website and increase their natural rankings for the keyword “camera repair”.
Challenge
PRIME Visibility’s challenge was to improve the client’s placement in the natural search results by identifying and optimizing each page for industry-related keywords that had competitive search volume. Taking this course of action would improve the client’s natural search rankings, which would lead to improvements in traffic. Prime Visibility had limited time to rebuild the entire website. Time restraints placed on this project by the client called for a complete redesign in under six weeks time.
Strategy
SEO techniques were applied in redesigning Precision Camera’s website to enhance their visibility to the major search engines. To improve the site's natural keyword rankings we added targeted keywords to enhance preexisting copy. Additionally, all titles, keywords and descriptions on the entire site were revised for enhanced optimization. Since the focus of the search engine optimization for this website was on one main keyword phrase, “camera repair”, it allowed for a concentrated effort on behalf of the SEO strategist.
Results
Prior to partnering with PRIME Visibility, the client’s website did not appear on the first 3 results pages of Google, Yahoo, or MSN. Precision Camera now has the following rankings for the keyword phrase “camera repair”

- Traffic went from 12,706 in February 2007 to 28,475 in February 2008
- Page views went 40,124 in February 2007 to 110,217 in February 2008
